Small Donations, Big Impact

Ten For Ten Million Supports The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center

All donations made to Ten for Ten Million benefit The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. As a current patient, I have an affinity for the place that administers my life-sustaining treatment every three weeks. But that is not the only reason we have chosen this amazing institution as the beneficiary of the funds we raise. There are many reasons, and they all come down to MD Anderson being the best source of hope and future treatment breakthroughs.

The Best, the Biggest, and the Brightest

MD Anderson Cancer Center is one of the world’s largest and most respected centers devoted to cancer care, research, education and prevention. In the U.S. News & World Report’s 2019–2020 “Best Hospitals” survey, MDA was ranked #1. In fact, since the survey began in 1990, MD Anderson has ranked in the top two spots for cancer care. Because of this amazing track record, MD Anderson is able to recruit and retain the best and brightest of the amazing cancer specialists from around the world. Trust me, I have met and know many of them.

A Ray of Hope

MD Anderson is innovating the way cancer research is done and is pushing the bar for what is possible. With so much expertise concentrated in one place, scientific innovation and breakthrough can quickly be turned into clinical advances that can be made available to patients. Channeling Support

When it comes to channeling our efforts to fight back against cancer, whether it’s prevention, treatment, or research and development, my opinion is that there is no better place than MD Anderson. The breakthroughs that have saved millions of lives and will save more in the future happen largely because of the support from individuals and small entities that band together. When we create a community that is dedicated and committed to a goal, small contributions can have a big impact.
